PRAYER NOTES — ONE SHEET
Discover Disciple-Making — Week 8 — 4 Prayers
Opening Text: Luke Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8
Today, we pray. We pray specifically for each of the four prayers. Use today’s sermon notes to create an ongoing prayer list and commit to praying over this sheet for the next thirty (30) days.
Chair 1 — Who in your life is living life apart from Jesus? Commit to praying for those who are lost. Pray for those who are seeking. Pray for those with no measurable knowledge or awareness of Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit does the work of convicting their lives and turning them to Jesus.
Chair 2 — Who has recently put their faith in Jesus Christ and is just now beginning their faith walk? By surrendering to Jesus, they become a target for Satan. He will attack them with a new ferocity. Pray that the Church strengthens these infants in Christ as they learn to cling tightly to their new identity and Savior.
Chair 3 — Who needs encouragement as they take on a bigger and more significant role in sharing the Gospel? As Chair 3 people step out in faith, they need to realize that the Holy Spirit is their empowerment. Pray for these co-workers and the freedom and strength that comes from Helper.
Chair 4 — Who needs prayers for strength and empowerment? Chair 4 people are willing to put the comfortable and familiar on the line for the cause of Christ. These friends of Christ need all your support and encouragement. Take them to the Father in prayer.
