Broader Reach – Missions Focus
Week 3 – Regional Missions – McDowell County
Speaker – Mark Elliott, Elder & Pastor of Student Ministries
Last year, Tommy Thompson brought to us an opportunity to feed the children in McDowell County, WV. Each month during the school year, this local church and community supporters have packed and delivered food bags to Fall River Elementary School.
This past summer, a group of FBCW members ventured to McDowell County to provide a sports camp camp and VBS to those students there. This Sunday, one of our Elders and Pastor of Student Ministries, Mark Elliott will share the details of that effort and lay the ground work for further developing our regional mission efforts in this area.
