Chosen by God and on the run from those wanting to do harm. It’s not a new phenomenon. The church may be under attack from those wishing to harm her. The modern-day remnant may be being pushed to the sidelines, but it is nothing new. Psalm 57 gives us a framework of how to respond when the world is demanding one thing, but as God’s chosen we need to know that there is a better way. We cry out, “We run to You for Cover, God!”
